In an educational study tour supported by the Network of Inquiry and Indigenous Education (NOIIE), three °µÍøTV schools welcomed a delegation of 16 educators from Hackney, UK.Ìý
Over four days, participants engaged in an array of enriching sessions aimed at continuous improvement for student learning, Indigenous perspectives, leadership development, and networked inquiry, while focusing on diversity, inclusion and equity.Ìý
During their study tour, participants learned from educators in BC schools, and discussed the importance of nurturing diverse and inclusive communities while empowering school communities for positive change. With newfound connections and shared visions of educational excellence, this tour proved to be a fantastic opportunity for BC and Hackney educators to connect.
