Our school explored the question, “What types of inquiry-based approaches to teaching and learning, including the creation of the Wonder Lab,Ìýcan we use to develop the target curricular competencies in Science?“
In the course of our inquiry we learned that:Ìý
- theÌýopportunity for everyone to participate makes a big difference
- using aÌýstation approach allowed students to make bigger connections
- it takes time for inquiry learning to be fully implemented and become 'how we do things'
- the Wonder Lab becameÌýan extension of what’s going on inÌýthe classroom
